Mission:  Shades members are committed to supporting and promoting the motivational work of speakers to increase visibility and showcase the flavor and expertise African American speakers bring to the world

Purpose:  SHADES serves as a professional networking venue for African American who inspire the world through speaking or entertaining. 

Vision:  " To awaken the senses of the audience and elevate the human spirit by inspiring and educating through  the power of words." 

Groupsites are powered by CollectiveX and combine the best features of forums, calendars, email lists, and social networks. This site is a private meeting place that provides members of Shades of Empowerment Network with a shared calendar, discussion forums, photo gallery, files and member profiles.
